New Look is a leading womenswear fashion retailer with over 500 high street stores and over 10,000 staff. The company has demonstrated over many years the power of its retail offer, based on giving customers exactly what they want - fashion, value and choice.
New Look wanted an e-commerce site, which captured the excitement and character of their fashion brand, and provided a state-of-the-art online shopping experience. The site also needed to work efficiently and cope with both high turnover and transaction levels.
Our extensive retail experience, together with some thorough in-store research, helped us to not only win the business, but to really understand the brand, New Look’s retail philosophy and merchandising strategy. We used this knowledge to design the new site to capture the essence of this exciting, fast moving business and create an easy-to-shop website. The New Look website quickly established itself as a market leader, generating sales of more than £50 million a year. It also won the Retail Week Internet Technology Award 2009.
